• HP=Hand Pollinated gourd seeds. Gourds are propagated and hand protected before and after pollination under controlled conditions for the purpose of obtaining the best quality and pureness to parent variety.  This guarantees that bumble bees and  insects have not interfere with pollination causing cross pollination. The gourd seeds produced will grow gourds like its parents. This is the only method available to maintain best pureness to parent variety.     

• IS=Isolation gourd seeds. Gourds are propagated in semi-controlled conditions by field isolation for the purpose of obtaining the best quality and  pureness to parent variety. This method does not guarantee complete elimination of bees and insects visitation but is the second best method of retaining best pureness to parent variety at a lower cost for gourd seeds.
