Most of the giant bushel gourds are more than 1/4 to 3/4 inch in thickness at the stem end, 16-23 inch diameter and 12-16 inches high. When completely dry the bushel gourd  will weigh approximately 10 pounds or less.

We have really nice martins gourds this year, nice thick shells for gourd bird houses and great for craving. We also have apple, banana, basketball, bottle gourd, Chinese bottle, Indonesian bottle, miniature gourds, miniature nigerian, giant nigerian bushel, dipper, short handle dipper, kettle, maranka, martin, mixed hardshell, penguin, snake, swan, warty and some ornamentals such as the tennessee spinner. We are also offering for the first time duck gourds seeds. This is a new gourd.  So, check my gourd seed page if you would like to grow some. There is a limited supply.
